Finally...

Mom & Dad come for a visit!
Mom & Dad arrived Tuesday, May 5. We have been having a wonderful time wth them...visiting, eating, visiting relatives in colonies, eating some more. Hans and Dad went to Charagua Sunday til Monday to visit the colony leaders. Mom and I (Elma) managed to get in some market shopping time!

The kids have also been enjoying having their grandparents here. One night we were able to visit their school and watch Taylan's drama class do an improv event. We laughed a lot!

Some people we have visited: Dad's sister Margareta & Julius Toews in Morganland, Dad's nieces Lena & Peter Fehr, Anna & Abram Falk, Tina & David Doerksen, Mom's brother Johann & Lena Krahn in New Holland.

Mom & Dad left for Paraguay Tuesday, May 12, on the bus. We got a call that they made it safely, however, their suitcase did not arrive :(... We are feeling bad for them. We're not sure if it got put on the wrong bus here at the bus terminal or if somebody stole it before it got onto the bus.

Visitors always bring a bit of home with them, but our parents have brought much more than just a taste. It is amazing how one can feel so connected to people at home by hearing all the latest news from home. We know that we only have another year left in Bolivia, but lately there have been times where we have felt like we would be ready to go back this year. We know that God has more for us to do here, and we are praying that God will help us to enjoy the joys that each today brings without looking for tomorrow's joys. We know He is faithful.

I love the picture collage that you made. It captures the good times that you are having with your parents.
