May 27th is the official date that Bolivia celebrates Mother's Day. This year we had multiple celebrations...we took Hans' parents (and Tante Tina who was also here from Manitoba) to a wonderful restaurant called Toborochi. Then our church had a big Churasco ... BBQ ... for a Sunday lunch. And then, for our weekly MCC potluck event, the men took the lead and cooked a delicious supper for all the mothers. It was delicious! It looks like Hans made a salad, but he was actually in charge of grilling burgers.

Those burgers were really good. And it was sure great not to have to do dishes!
